A recent study by the University of Applied Sciences for Technology and Economics of Saarland (HTW) impressively demonstrated the positive impact of company runs on employee motivation and the company’s image. The survey, which included participants from seven different company runs in Germany, shows that 75% of participants are very satisfied with these events. In some regions, satisfaction rates even reach up to 90%. Remarkably, almost all respondents (around 90%) plan to participate in company runs again the following year – a clear sign of the ongoing popularity and effectiveness of these events.
The study indicates that company runs can sustainably improve the working environment. They provide a unique opportunity to strengthen team spirit and celebrate shared successes. Further insights into the positive effects of corporate events on employee motivation and identification are presented in Tatjana König’s book “Event Research: Current Status and Perspectives”.
